Since I got many questions about ecpp and I had problems to answer
them by e-mail (espec. to Pawel Wlaz, my name server says "there is no
computer in Lublin") here the answer:

ecpp ("elliptic curves primality prover") is a system to prove primes.
As far as I know the result of the Ph.D. of Francois Morain (?)
