Howís it work?
ìAbyssinianî (Ta) is incompletely dominant to ìmackerel tabbyî (T).
Both Ta and T are dominant to ìclassic tabbyî or ìblotched tabbyî (tb)
- A cat with, say, the Ttb genotype would be ìmackerel tabbyî
- A cat with TaT or Tatb will have faint stripes on the legs and tail, because of the incomplete dominance. (This pattern is called ìticked tabbyî.)
